Intern - Project Officer (Energy Security, Water Security, Sustainable Transportation)

Founded in 1991, Green Line Associations aims at promoting environmental awareness and document environmental threats in order to better confront them, thus introducing change at the community level within the concept of sustainable development. Purpose of the mission Green Line Association is looking for 3 interns in order to raise awareness on the energy security, sustainable transportation and water security issues and advocate for the implementation on a more sustainable public strategy. Main duties and responsibilities -          Work with staff and volunteers to organize a conference or workshop on renewable energy/ water security/ sustainable transportation in Lebanon Energy security: -          Update the association’s document and collect data on the energy situation in Lebanon -          Study of feasibility for the installation of a solar panel – pilot project Water security: -          Launch a communication campaign on Right to Water -          Organize a photo competition on Water -          Participate in the creation of a platform gathering NGO’s and experts on Water Sustainable transportation: -          Update the association’s data on transportation and collect information about the current transport system law -          Participate in the launching of a car pooling application
