Specialized Technician

-Scope of responsibility: . Perform or supervise repair/maintenance/construction work within the agreed timeframes. . Ensure proper operation and prevent faults/deterioration of MSF equipment/installations/infrastructures,      under the supervision of the line manager and technical adviser. . Record and file all documents related to equipment/installations/infrastructures.   -Function responsibilities include: Carry out or supervise all work (construction, repairs, etc.) requested by the line manager, as well as any work identified by him/her and approved by the line manager. Perform regular maintenance of MSF installations/equipment/infrastructures, particularly in line with a preventive maintenance plan (procedures to follow, schedule, etc.). In particular be responsible for the maintenance of the MSF-Office, guest house, clinics and stock including all equipment. Perform any necessary tests/checks to confirm the proper operation of the installation or equipment after repair. Propose improvements and/or corrections to installations/equipment/infrastructures. Ensure effective management, protection and care of work tools (including site installations under his/her supervision) and keeps the workshop tidy. Always ensure that there are adequate stocks of consumables and materials for minor repairs and manage those stocks; place orders in good time. When necessary, assist with the loading/unloading of building materials. Prepare accurate work reports (record sheets, problems, measures taken, etc.). Follow up and log malfunctions/repairs. Contribute to the preparation of maintenance procedures and plans. Supervise and train workshop assistants and any casual workers employed to help. Prepare the chronogram of maintenance or work by every end of a month. Provide clear and sufficient information to the staff on the use of equipment etc… Inform staff on the safety measure when necessary.      - Working hours: Monday to Friday : 8:30 to 5:00.                            Saturday : Upon request.
