CISP Lebanon is recruiting an Office Admin / Clerk to be involved in the implementation of WASH projects for Syrian Refugees and Affected Populations in Southern Lebanon.
Main areas of responsibility (in coordination with CISP Project Coordinator):
Office management (e.g. correspondence filing, phone answering, goods purchasing, utilities payment, etc…).
Support in administration for CISP Administrators in Beirut (e.g. weekly financial planning, expenses management, etc...).
Support in translation for CISP Project Coordinator and any other staff, written and spoken.
Assisting CISP Project Coordinator and any other staff in the implementation, management and co-ordination of the Project activities.
Contact to and co-operation with relevant local authorities.
Specific duties:
The Office Assistant collaborates with CISP staff in the implementation of the WASH projects in terms of:
Office daily activities: goods purchasing, utilities payment, expenses planning and management, collection of administrative documents, staff attendance sheets, car log books, scanning of documents, inventory;
Daily accountancy and petty cash management;
Translation of documents from Arabic to English and vice versa;
Daily updating to the Project Coordinator on decisions taken/to be taken;
Follow-up and execution of the scheduled payments;
Assisting in the administrative works related to tendering procedures;
Any other duties assigned by the CISP Project Coordinator and Finance Manager.
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor in Administration;
Working experience in similar field (administration and accountancy);
Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic languages (spoken and written);
Very good level of computer literacy;
Valid Driving License;
Personal commitment, flexibility, efficiency.
Previous experience in working with national/international NGOs is an advantage.
