We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated candidate to support the functioning of collective center committees with a particular attention to vulnerable groups and/or persons Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk Duties• Represent DRC with stakeholders in the field and Collective Sites residents;• Mobilize the participation of the community in the daily life of the Collective Site;• Maintain regular contact with community representatives in their area of responsibilities;• Conduct assessment in order to  identify needs and concerns of different population groups;• Identify gaps, problems and vulnerable cases in their area of responsibilities and report to the CSMC Officer;• Provide information to the Refugees on the services available; About youTo be successful in this role you must have a university degree; preferably related to social work with Minimum 2 years of work experience in relevant field. Ideally you will also have experience in managing community centers and development projects or community mobilization and experience in Emergency work. We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from December 2014 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli- Lebanon.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level B1, equivalent to a basic salary of 1180 USD per month.
