Community Support Projects (Csp) Assistant – South Lebanon

DRC is inviting local candidates to apply for the position of CSP (Community Support Projects) Assistant, to support its activities. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job To work within a team of highly motivated people and an organization dedicated to provide assistance to refugees and other affected groups in south Lebanon, through the implemention of all Community Support Projects activities.   Duties Conduct need assessments with host and refugee communities including municipalities, community representatives and youth (maintaining gender balance) in coordination with CSP Officer; Conduct FGDs with host and refugee communities to identify common priorities for a particular area in coordination with CSP Officer; Inform communities of project value—both monetary and social impact--and provide regular updates on all expenditure on projects to CSP Officer;  Ensure full accountability to communities (and DRC) of the use of project funds; Monitor project implementation on a regular basis and participate in periodic reviews of the program, providing support where needed; Take responsibility of data entry for all the documents; Keep soft and hard records of all procurement contracts (services, goods, and works) related to his/her sector of responsibility in collaboration with the CSP Officer; Support in coordinating the implementation of CSPs with other teams such as shelter, CSMC and others;   About you To be successful in this role you must have a High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years experience in similar field (Development projects or community mobilization).   Preferred qualifications: Bachelor Degree in social field. Languages: Arabic, Strong command in English written and spoken.   We offer An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 Month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from December 1st and be willing and able to work in South. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
