Laboratory Aid/clerk At The Water Laboratory In Baalbeck Governmental Hospital

1. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT The applicant will work within the laboratory team of the laboratory at Baalbeck Governmental Hospital.  The selected applicant will be recruited by IRD, and deployed to MOPH (i.e. work and report at MoPH). 2. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT Accountability -          Maintains readiness of laboratory equipment and material for reception and testing water samples -          Maintains updated and cleaned the water database on timely manner -          Respects the rules of the hospital -          Respects the confidentiality of the results Responsibility -          Receive, register and label samples -          Prepare media -          Furnish work of washing room -          Prepare glass bottles for water sampling -          Clean and disinfect lab benches -          Update the water database on timely manner -          Assist the Laboratory technician in water testing -          Perform other duties as required 3 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES -          Managing performance and resources -          Analytical thinking -          Technological awareness -          Planning -          Change capability and adaptability 4. ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -          Holding Lebanese Nationality -          Having a TS in laboratory sciences or medical laboratory -          Manipulating easily Personal Computer and Microsoft office (Word, Excell, Outlook) 5. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES -          Having experience in working in laboratory -          Basic knowledge of English language
