Psychologist

The Psychologist will: Support Child Protection and GBV field team providing Psycho Social Support Conduct family and individual counselling when required Establish links on field with other sector organizations ·         Keep and improve a referral system for psychosocial and mental health cases from the Primary to the Secondary level ·         Develop or adapt specific didactic materials for technical topics and capacity building activities Support data collection at field level Establish a good collaboration on field with other actors involved in humanitarian assistance Provide efficient management support to the Project Manager and Field Coordinator. Perform any other relevant duties as required     Preferred Requirements: Degree in Counseling Psychology. Masters degree preferred or equivalent; Experience in capacity building including facilitation of community - based training and advocacy, awareness raising on GBV issues a plus Knowledge and experience in trauma counselling, marriage and family therapy desirable; Clear understanding of gender inequality, and issues surrounding violence against women and girls. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients at all times is essential. Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, work overtime when necessary and be able to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail. Computer skills and report writing experience Good knowledge of English and/or French language – spoken and written skills. Mother tongue Arabic speaker
