It Administrator

The IT Administrator is responsible for the IT needs of Concern Worldwide, including system installations, maintenance and technical support to staff. S/he is responsible for ensuring that standards set by Concern Worldwide are followed. Responsibilities also include the following:   Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and application software whenever requires. Install and configure software applications in compliance with the Concern Worldwide IT Policy and Guidelines Perform first level desktop/Laptops and Network troubleshooting Assist in creating and managing user and email accounts in closed consultation with ICT Regional Advisor. Answer user queries, track IT support and coordinate with the regional ICT advisor and Helpdesk to satisfy user requests within existing IT standards and procedures. Assist in managing LAN switches, Wireless access points, cabling system Maintaining of the inventory and stock of supplies and spare parts of LAN/WAN including computers, Printers Scanners and all ICT hardware. Investigate and troubleshoot low level problems reported by staffs and after consultation with the regional ICT advisor take the necessary action Implementing and supporting offsite backups Investigating and reporting problems with office support systems e.g. photocopiers, printers and scanners etc. Liaising with nominated external IT supply, ISP, support and maintenance companies Performs other tasks as required by the Line Manager and regional ICT Advisor and/or Country Director   Qualifications   Degree in Computer Science Minimum of two years’ experience working in an IT environment. Excellent communication skills in Arabic Good knowledge of spoken and written English is essential Commitment to humanitarian principles and values. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data with the proper discretion and security
