Field Worker/data Collector

General Description Mixed-methods study on Lebanese employers’ attitudes and practices, and social norms, pertaining to migrant domestic workers will be done using Android built-in questionnaire. The study is funded by the International Labor Organization (ILO) in collaboration with two NGOs (KAFA and Anti-Slavery International). Role and Responsibilities Pilot the questionnaire Administer the final questionnaire in the specified clusters of households Report questionnaire status and obstacles to the research assistant Perform other related duties as required Qualifications and Education Requirements High-school degree is the minimum requirement. Currently enrolled university students are preferred. Field worker should be ready to dedicate 5 hours per day for questionnaire administration. Preferred Skills Excellent computer skills Ability to work on Android-based tablets Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, willingness to listen to others and respect the opinions and ideas of colleagues Additional Notes One of the field workers who shows more maturity and dedication will be assigned as a team leader who will be given additional responsibilities, such as quality checks and will receive additional monetary compensation.  Field workers are expected to attend 5 full days in the American University of Beirut from 9 am till 5 pm. Roundtrip transportation reimbursed for the group in each location for the whole duration of the training on the 5th day Lunch and snacks provided everyday Only well-trained, highly competent, and highly motivated field workers will be retained and allowed to collect data
