For more information on MSI, please visit our website at www.msiworldwide.com. Project Summary:  The Lebanon Community Resilience Program (LCRP) is a project funded by USAID/OTI. The LCRP provides strategically targeted support to advance peace and stability in Lebanon. **Please note: Only Lebanese citizens are eligible for this position.** Position Summary: In coordination with the Program Development Officer and the Grants Specialist, the Field Officer will be responsible for supporting LCRP Project Activity Implementation Teams with administrative, program, logistical and operational needs. The Field Officer positions are located in North Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley and will be required to travel to Beirut for weekly reporting and staff meetings. The position reports to the Chief of Party. Responsibilities: Support programmatic and technical aspects of the LCRP Project, including but not limited to the following: contacting and interacting with clients, NGOs, government agencies, and private sector representatives. Routinely liaise with PDOs, Grants Specialists, partners, and program staff. Assist in the identification of communities and community groups within the area of responsibility where LCRP program objectives can be met; develop and maintain friendly, open, and professional relationships with local counterparts, LCRP beneficiaries, contractors, suppliers, other international organizations as well as local and national authorities. Contribute to regular “Success Stories” articles for OTI according to contractual requirements and ad hoc requests covering program activities throughout Lebanon. Provide ad hoc reports and information updates about grant activities to OTI and USAID. Assist in development and design of questionnaires, survey polls, focus groups and other quantitative and qualitative tools for monitoring and impact measurement purposes. Act as focal point for the Program Development Officers for the collection, collating, analyzing, and interpreting of data to improve monitoring strategies. Support the follow up for both program development and implementation tasks.  Coordinate LCRP Project events, conferences, and activities, including site selection and logistics. Obtain photos and goods received notes for items delivered. Support the preparation of deliverables, reports, and briefings; and document archival. Actively contribute to information sharing within the LCRP Project. Perform other tasks as requested by the Chief of Party and the Operations Manager. Minimum Qualifications: University degree in Social Sciences or related field. Strong networks and ties within communities of North Lebanon or the Bekaa Valley. Ability to handle multiple priorities, events, projects and accurately report on progress. Experience working in community development preferred.
