Data Entry Assistant - Education Program - Zahle

Position Overview The IRC is running community classes for 2,500 students in North Lebanon. These community classes will take place in and close to ITS settlements to reach out of school refugee and marginalized Lebanese students. IRC Education needs a data entry assistant to enter attendance data from community classes into excel format, and to assist with other data entry needs, based around children’s enrollment and community engagement activities. Responsbilites: Responsible for entering data collected by the Community Based Education Officers, PTA Officers and Community Mobilizers   Ensures regular entry and filing of data into the database of the Education Department Reports regularly to the Education Manager-Zahle Lebanon  on the progress and inaccuracies of the data entered into excel and ODK data system Ensures that the data of the hard copies are filled and the ambiguous data forms returned to the respective community workers for accuracy Essential: The post holder will be a qualified Lebanese, with the following essential attributes: Good command of computer, including Excel, Word and Database software, including apps such as ODK if possible Honesty, forthrightness, and accuracy are absolutely necessary. Understanding the nature of the data entered and its usage are necessary, as it will allow identifying possible incoherence in the data collected. The Data Entry assistant must be thorough and meticulous, in order to avoid mistakes in data entry. Good organizational and communication skills with international and national staff.  Working hours: 20 hours per week
