Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Operations officer the incumbent will perform the following functions:
Coordinate and assist transiting passengers through Beirut International Airport travelling under IOM auspices.
Coordinate and assist individuals returning to resettlement countries under IOM auspices.
Manage IOM activities/office at Beirut International airport.
Meet and assist upon arrival in Beirut International Airport IOM staff or other persons in need of assistance.
Coordinate and assist the transit of migrants
Ensure that the travel arrangements for resettlement/and other movement related operations meet the relevant criteria with regards to proper documentation, valid travel documents and required exit visas before departure.
Prepare IOM bags and finalize departure formalities for refugees including WARRANT and Promissory note.
Conduct pre-departure briefings advising refugees concerning departure procedures, flight details, and luggage allowance.
Liaise and assist passengers with all check in formalities and immigration procedures at the airport.
Confirm departure of passengers to Senior/Operations staff advising any cancellation or no show at Beirut International Airport.
Prepare and update movement schedule on a weekly basis
Perform any other duties he/she may be assigned.
