Storekeeper

  Responsibilities and tasks: Carries out stock rotation by FIFO /FEFO to ensure no product expire on the stock. Makes ensure loading is done on clean carries Prepares enough space in warehouse for the incoming shipments according to pipeline Supervises cleaners to ensure good housekeeping to eliminate dust that corrodes packing hence cause deterioration of products. Supervises the offloading operations and count the goods according to documents from the suppliers and report any damage. Prepares outgoing goods in dispatch area according to plan of action and Requisitions Orders, with supervise the loading operations. Provides weekly physical count on all items stored in Warehouse and carryout Bin Cards in all stacks after each loading and offloading process. Ensures proper storage and stacking to avoid collapse of stacks that may cause injury to personnel and damage to property. Replaces absent colleagues as required. Makes sure that the warehouse are secure, locked, safe and report what may consider irregularity to the supervisor Takes all necessary precaution for ensuring security and safety and prevention of damage to the stored goods. Coordinates with the supervisor (storekeeper) and warehouse manager concerning any arrival of goods and organize the offloading. Coordinates with warehouse manager all requirements needed to run the day to day operation at the warehouse. Minimum required knowledge & experience: High School Level.  3 years experience in a similar function. Good knowledge of English. Sense of organization.
