The cash for work Officer is responsible to implement, monitor Cash Based Interventions (CBI), mainly Cash for Work (CfW) activities and follow them up with the partners and beneficiaries.
Objective 1:
Contribute to assessing, implementing and monitoring of Project activities.
Raise awareness at community level for project participation on CBI
Selection of beneficiaries for CBI upon selection criteria and mechanism established
Coordination and monitoring of project activities at field level in order to fit within the timeline provided and to achieve with the objectives established
Coordination and supervision of beneficiaries’ contribution to CBI through the use of appropriate tools
Coordinate actions with stakeholders and local authorities at field level.
Attend to meetings with partners/stakeholders and support accordingly to ACF team in such activities
Contribute to weekly and monthly planning of project activities
Report on monthly basis to your line manager (Supervisor/Head of project) about accomplishment of activities in English, as required, to determine the success of the CBI, and recommend changes in program activities to Head of Project (when needed)
Report to your Line manager about any technical challenges& needs faced at field level during the activity implementation, to ensure that quality standards are achieved accordingly
Contribute to technical assessment, monitoring and evaluation reports as per ACF standards, through the data collection and analysis by the use of ACF tools.
To report the use of project assets in order to seek for its possible improvement.
Coordinate the delivery of project assets and materials to beneficiaries and partners, and assure that it is recorded as per ACF standards.
To perform other responsibilities related and willingly assist other members of the team as requested by Head Project

Knowledge &Skills :
Bachelor Degree in Social Science or any disciplines related to the profile
Proven experience of Min 2 (two) years in a similar position at field level
Understanding of the CBI mechanisms and experienced on Food Security activities
Proven experience on field work based on the participatory approach.
Proven experience in dealing community and mobilization
Proven experience in coordination and supervision of teams
Proven experience on monitoring and reporting as per international donors standards
Ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of people from village to district level
Ability to transfer knowledge and skills to community workers and beneficiaries
Resistant to stressful situations, patience, perseverance, adaptability and self-confidence.
Proactive, motivated, sense of responsibility, organizational skills, ability to take initiative and to work independently according to objective rather than job description
Ability to work in rural/remote locations and attend field trips regularly
Ability to exercise discretion and respect confidentiality.
Good written and reporting abilities in Arabic and English compulsory
Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel and technical report writing.
