Overall Role:
The coordinator of the center is responsible for providing business counseling and training to clients. He is also responsible for developing strong relationships with the business, economic development, government and university communities.
Responsibilities include designing a comprehensive marketing plan for center promotion, maintaining a budget, providing documentation of program successes, and working closely with community partners and organizations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates the center activities in line with the center stated goals and local market needs.
- Developing and providing technical support for establishment of new enterprises and expansion of existing ones.
- Enhancing the capabilities of new and existing entrepreneurs through the entrepreneur development and enterprise creation programs.
- Conducting market research on the barriers facing small entrepreneurs and minorities in Lebanon and the Arab world.
- Providing capacity building programs that empower potential entrepreneurs through preparation and empowerment interventions; business counseling support services, technology tie-ups and financial linkages.
- Provides community presence to support and extend the center’s network of external relations.
- Develop and promotes entrepreneurship opportunities.
- Implement policies & procedures.
- Prepares and administers budget, performs planning and administrative tasks, sets annual objectives, prepares reports.
- Supervise and review the work of support staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Experience with grant application and implementation, reporting, and close out.
