Under the direct supervision and validation of the RE Programme Manager:
1. Training support
- Analyze the needs of trainings for each team/country according to the context
- Define the Risk Education training needs for the identified trainers from regional organizations and the HI RE teams in the region (16 staff members) and for the future trainings to be implemented.
- Fully prepare those trainings (content, translation, handouts, schedule, curriculums, tools needed….) in close coordination with the RE Programme Manager and other relevant HI staff.
- This means preparation & delivery of Training of Trainers, Refresher trainings & routine additional trainings as required
- Support & deliver any additional trainings / briefings as required with other INGOs & their Partners etc as required
- Deliver trainings as often as needed ensuring HI’s quality requirements are fulfilled
- Provide regular recommendations on trainings’ improvements needs
- Assist with the development & testing of new RE training materials as required
- Maintain respectful relationships & good communications with HI Staff & Partners
2. Monitoring and Evaluation
- Monitor (remotely) the RE sessions delivered and provide advice and support to the team and/or implementing partners to improve the quality of the RE delivered.
- Help to adapt reporting tools to measure the achievement of the project’s objectives and its impact
- Ensure that all RE sessions are conducted to a high quality standard as appropriate to context
- Ensure that issues identified through the supervision process are brought to the attention of the PM and addressed accordingly
- Follow-up the needs for improvement and provide further recommendations
- Maintain weekly / regular reporting contact with partners in the field where possible for updates on RE activities using social media, Facebook, Skype as appropriate
- Assist technically the RE Manager, PM & the other Safety Training Advisor to ensure the project meets its objectives and maximize the positive impact of activities
- Contribute in the identification of new needs to adapt the project or design new projects
- Monitor other related field activities to ensure their quality and report to the RE Programme Manager and to the PM : suggest and draft new tools when necessary
3. Data collection
- Prepare data collection forms and training as required
- Supervise, centralize and check all data collection forms
- Supervise the information management component of the project
- Coordinate with the Data Base Officer as required
4. Reporting
- Provide weekly reports to the RE Manager (especially concerning partner updates as well as the direct implementation in the region)

- Provide reports / summaries of any trainings given
- Contribute to other reports, project proposals & documentation as required.
5. External representation
In case of absence of the RE PM
Meet with external actors / other INGOS etc as & when required
- Represent HI with Partners and other Regional Civil Society Organisations as required
6. Translation
- Assist the RE PM in translating when meeting operational staff, Partners or external actors
- Ensure the translation of necessary tools / training materials for the operation
- Ensure an effective translation oral and or written of project documents / meetings from Arabic to English
