To attend trainings of Psychosocial support
To identify serious forms of distress and other mental health conditions
Ensure that the target population of RIs programs have access to mental and psychosocial support services
Coordinate and collaborate with other departments and RI programs in implementing PSS consultations to beneficiaries
Collect and track weekly data at community level, including the results of basic PSS consultations to beneficiaries during PSS interventions, in accordance with RI standard statistical reporting forms
Submit weekly reports to the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer on (a)# of beneficiaries accessing PSS activities; (b) # of beneficiaries accessing specialized PSS services
Perform individual PSS consultations and emotional support to beneficiaries to address underlying distress.
Report any problems in a timely manner to the supervisor
Participate in the field work of nutrition, education and SGBV programs
Perform any additional duties as requested by supervisor, such as to assist RI teams during regular visits to the location
Assists in the psychosocial trainings to be conducted for the Education, Health and Nutrition and SGBV program actors.
Assists in the preparation and follow up on the psychosocial publications
Assists in the individual psychological support sessions in Education, Health and Nutrition and SGBV programs.
Translates from English to Arabic and vice versa when needed
Other program related tasks as agreed upon with the Supervisor.
To participate in mass campaigns conducted by RI
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Being able to provide individual consultations and emotional support to beneficiaries
Share the humanitarian mission of the organization
Good communication skills
Ability to communicate with vulnerable populations
Proven experience in related field
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Accuracy and promptness in performing duties
Advanced knowledge in psychosocial / psychological interventions (Child protection, SGBV, positive discipline, art therapy...)
Readiness to learn and adapt to new techniques and approaches.
Awareness of refugee context following a context-sensitive approach.
Compassionate while working with refugees.
Maintains confidentiality and respect towards beneficiaries.
Experience in working with children and vulnerable populations.
Good interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
Team player and adaptable to working under pressure and handling multiple tasks.
Comfortable in conducting trainings.
Takes initiatives and creative.
Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Native Arabic speaker with fluency in English.
