SCOPE OF WORK: The CP Case worker (social worker) will be responsible of the case management of cases according to IA minimum standards as well as supporting and coaching the para case worker. The Case worker/social worker that the needs of children most in needs are met through direct services or referral.
Position objectives:
Coordinate the case management team and ensure that their work is according to standards
Provide technical support to the case management team through training and coaching

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program
Ensure that the Case Management system is functional and has up dated SOP, referral pathway, information sharing protocol
Update regularly the SOP, referral pathway, information sharing protocol
In collaboration with the CP deputy Manager develop capacity plan for the case worker
Support the case worker in the supervision and mentoring of the para case worker
Participate in the development of lesson learned and best practices
In coordination with the M/E training officer participate in the monitoring and evaluation of the program
Participate in the identification of volunteer para-case worker, in the development of coaching plan
Facilitate and co-facilitate CM training to case worker, para case worker and gateways
Work closely with the database case worker and the PSS officer
Facilitate the weekly case conference meeting
Grant Monitoring & Reporting
Develop weekly and monthly plan for the case worker and para case worker
Revise and compile weekly case worker and data base case worker report
Ensure that all relevant financial documentation is completed accurately as required by IRC finance policy.
Coordination & Representation
Attend CP coordination meeting when required
Liaise and collaborate with other CM actors when required
Maintain positive coordination and relationships with partner and other IRC sector staff.
Other
Ensure activities are done in accordance with IRC logistics policy and in a timely manner to ensure the successful implementation of programs;
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs
Professional Standards
All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in working with children preferable
Social work experience mandatory
Management experience mandatory
Experience in working in emergencies preferable
Three years of relevant work experience in the area of child protection preferably including case management
Experience in working in NGO preferable
Ability to develop partnerships, network and attend coordination meeting
Experience in facilitating trainings/mentoring
Fluency in Arabic mandatory and conversation and written English an advantage
Knowledge of child protection database / CPIMS preferred
Proficient in Word and excel
Travel and other requirements: Staff will be based in either the North or Beka’a Governorates, with some travel required between the governorates and the main IRC office in Beirut.
