Community Mobiliser

General duties and responsabilities: Facilitate, collects and report information regarding the overall situation of the children and their families in the community structures; Support and assist in the network mapping of resources specific to the locations he/she operates; Is an INTERSOS focal point in the community and represents the organization.     Outreach Activities: Facilitate the participation of all the segments of the target population to the planned activities held at the assigned center, notably the most vulnerable ones (refugees, local community, youth, women, elderly, minority members, people with disabilities etc.), ensuring that proper attention is paid to specific emotional and physical needs. Create a mutual trust with the beneficiary on the community and to be the link between INTERSOS and the community. Liaise with local stakeholders, service providers, local government bodies (primarily CDSs) and other community services centers for strengthening joint planning and synergies for community participation. Identify and engage community volunteers in the planned socio-recreational activities held at the assigned center; Maintain daily attendance registers and monthly inventory sheets for each activity; Ensure that the supplied Centre material is daily accounted for and secured; Assist in the production of a referral pathway tool, clearly identifying both formal and information child protection and GBV resources in the community Participate in the organization of specific events in occasion of international celebration, such as the World Refugee Day or other relevant national celebrations. Plan and implement NFIs distribution.   Case Management: Contribute to the identification of project targeted women, girls and children and report identified cases to INTERSOS protection officer for support or referral; Support the case workers in conducting home visits; Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisors or other professionals intervening in the centre.   Reporting: Provide basic information about project activities and report on a weekly and monthly basis Assist the team leader and the field coordinator in realizing weekly and monthly reports   Meetings and Trainings Be available to participate in meetings and trainings in and outside the centres Participates in weekly and monthly staff meeting when required
