POSITION TITLE: Marketing & Communications Coordinator
STATUS: Full-Time

REPORTING TO: Development Advisor
POSITION CONCEPT
This position is responsible for strengthening and growing the image of INJAZ in Lebanon. The person will develop and run the annual marketing and communication strategy of INJAZ Lebanon in coordination with the Development Advisor and in line with the organization’s strategic plan. This includes creating and updating marketing collateral, developing marketing campaigns, strengthening online communication and expanding traditional media relations and coverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Material
Creates and updates communications materials, such as information flyer, newsletter and annual report.
Provides regional office with relevant information for regional newsletter.
Gathers regular testimonials from stakeholders including students, volunteers, school representatives and corporations to feed into IL’s communication strategy. In coordination with program team.
Gathers outcome of program surveys and evaluation to feed into communication strategy
Develops photographic and video files to be used in communication material.
Develops marketing material as needed for events such as certificates, posters and flyers in coordination with graphic designer.
Ensures that marketing and communication materials are always in line with Junior Achievement guidelines.
Media Relations
Enhance INJAZ relations with the media to maximize profile and positive coverage of all INJAZ activities.
Develop media friendly communication materials such as press kits.
Draft press releases for INJAZ various projects in both English and Arabic, in line with operational plan.
Circulate press releases to the different media outlets.
Monitor news media coverage of INJAZ Lebanon and maintain an updated media database.
Online Communication (Website and Social Media)
Manage and update regularly the INJAZ website, and social media platforms in alignment with INJAZ corporate identity guidelines and operational plan.
Others
Represent INJAZ Lebanon at external events as required
Develop a budget for the marketing and communications related activities.
Supports proposal writing and program reporting as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education and qualifications:
- University degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or Communication Arts.
- 2-3 years of experience in related field of Communications and Marketing.
Experience:
- Networking and communication activities (at national, regional and international level).
- Working with/knowledge of press, TV, radio at a national level.
- Developing/editing corporate communication documents for public dissemination
- Drafting articles and managing a website.
- Working with social media.
Skills:
- Excellent English, spoken and written.
- Fluent in Arabic, spoken and written.
- Good interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Good organizational skills, able to prioritize workload, proactive approach to meeting deadlines with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of design software (preferred)
- Knowledge of video editing (preferred)
