War Child Holland (WCH)- Lebanon is looking for a third party to conduct an Evaluation for the Conflict Prevention Project titled “Peace Puzzle Project”.
The consultant will be responsible to evaluate the impact of this project with a focus on highlighting lessons learned, success stories, challenges and recommendations for the future. Frequent field visits to 9 locations in North Lebanon, South Beirut and Mount Lebanon will take place.
Preliminary findings need to be available by 15July, 2014.
All deliverables must be finalized and submitted to WCH by the end of July 2014.

The project “Puzzle Peace” has been implemented from March 2013 and aims at (a) raising awareness on the meaning and importance of conflict prevention and its tools in 9 communities (Beirut, Mount Lebanon and the North) by conducting participatory theater performances; (b) it will strengthen capacities of Parent Council members, students (11 to 18 years old) and teachers in the application of conflict prevention tools within their schools through the conduction of training of trainers, informal capacity-building sessions and the application of the War Child DEALs methodology; (c) it will disseminate context-specific tools, lessons learned and findings related to conflict prevention through the application of participatory PM&E techniques, as well as the writing and publishing of a practical handbook for schools.
