Ame Field Officer

General objective   Under the supervision of the AME Manager, the AME Field Officer will implement activities on the field in order to be accountable to donors.   The AME Field Officer will work under the supervision of the AME Manager based in Beirut base.   The AME Field Officer position’s major objectives are to properly achieve the following global tasks:   4  Implementation of activities of the Assessment, Monitoring & Evaluation plan per project in collaboration with the implementation teams; 4  Providing accurate and qualitative data collected on the field;   Responsibilities and tasks   4  AME: He/She will implement all AME field-related activities. 4  Logistics and Administration: He/She will express and anticipate  logistic and administrative needs related to AME activities he or she is implementing 4  Safety and Security: He/She will follow safety and security rules on-base and will transmit all safety and security information to the Quality Program Coordinator.   Specific objectives and linked activities   Implementing the Assessment, Monitoring & Evaluation plan per project 4  From lessons learned and experience on the field, participation in defining methodologies for major baseline and needs assessment studies; 4  Ensuring quality and accuracy of data collected on the field and the serious follow up of available guidelines; 4  In coordination with the AME Manager and the Quality Programme Coordinator, ensuring a good communication with operational teams on preparation of AME activities, implementation and results of AME.   Internal and external reporting 4  To provide internal reporting on activities according to PU-AMI internal tools according to guidance given by the AME Manager; 4  To prepare internal/external assessments, monitoring and evaluation reports according to guidance given by the AME Manager. 4  To report immediately on achievements or difficulties faced on the field 4  To report on the progress of AME activities on a daily and weekly basis.   Capitalization/Institutional Knowledge Building 4  To participate in training sessions and workshops as needed; 4  Communicate and report on its analysis of the situation and challenges encountered, including possible referrals to be done internally and externally.   Communication & Follow up 4  To participate in the field work and respond to beneficiaries’ queries with good knowledge of relevant information; 4  To respond to donor requests for special cases which need individual attention and follow their progress.     The tasks and responsibilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.   QUALIFICATIONS   Mandatory requirements Language skills: Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking/reading/writing) Education degree: Secondary diploma Work experience: Experience in NGOs/ On-site training in social or monitoring work Knowledge & skills: Good analytical and writing skills / Very good team spirit// Demonstrate willingness to improve own knowledge and skills by participating actively in any training sessions and capacity building activities Computer skills: Knowledge of the MS office software (including Word, Excel, Outlook)   Assets Interest: -       Strong motivation to help people in needs -       Understanding of the political situation in the area   Transversal skills: -       Well organized and attention to details -       Conflict resolution and diplomacy experience -       Ability to analyse and suggest improvement -       Autonomy, neutrality, hard worker -       Able to manage stress and pressure -       Ability to work within a team.
