Position: Team Leader of Community Nutrition Promoter
Reports to: Program Manager

About RI:
Relief International (RI), an international relief and development agency with cross-sectoral programs bridging relief and development currently seeks Team Leader of Community Nutrition Promoters for RI’s health and nutrition programming in Lebanon in response to the Syria crisis.
Position Summary:
The Team Leader of the mobile team will supervise the team of CNPs in his/her areas to ensure comprehensive mobilisation of the community for nutrition screening of children under five and pregnant/lactating women for prevention and correct treatment of malnutrition cases, collect the records from CNPs, including the Patients' histories and submit them to Program Manager.
He / She will be responsible for planning and implementation of household and community health and nutrition education in RI’s health and nutrition operation area in Lebanon, focusing on Syrian refugees and vulnerable host communities.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and organize CNPs work on screening of the nutritional status children under five and pregnant/lactating women in their designated locations
Follow that anthropometric measurements for nutrition, including weight, height and weight-for-height (WFH), and middle upper arm circumference (MUAC) of children under five and pregnant/lactating women are performed by CNPs correct.
Coordinate and collaborate with mobile team leaders/staff and PHC in implementing the project activities in the field
Ensure liaison with existing community structures, groups and individuals, women groups, religious leaders where possible.
Collect a daily data from CNPs, including the results of MUAC/W/H screening during house-to-house visits, education reports, micronutrient distribution reports in accordance with RI standard nutrition statistical reporting forms, check the correctness and submit to Program Coordinator for data entry
Collect and check the forms for all patients with MAM and SAM in his/her areas.
Report any problems in a timely manner to the Program Manager
Participate in the field work of the nutrition team whenever requested
Supervise Health & Nutrition Education to project beneficiaries.
Attend the meetings when required
Perform any additional duties as requested by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Certificate on Nutrition, Master degree is a Plus
Minimum 2 years of Experience with international NGO
Share the humanitarian mission of the organization
Good communication skills
Ability to communicate with vulnerable groups of population
Proven experience in related field
Demonstrated ability to work alone or as part of a team
Accuracy and promptness performing duties
English writing and speaking skills preferred
