Who are we The Danish Refugee Council has worked in Lebanon since September 2004, and the programs have followed the country’s needs and progress. The main focus of today’s efforts in Lebanon is to help the hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, who have fled across the border to find protection from the conflict in their homeland. DRC is simultaneously maintaining the efforts toward the vulnerable groups of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. More than 200.000 Syrian refugees have received assitance from the Danish Refugee Council since the beginning of the crisis. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job Organize the Administration and HR plan, in coordination with the FAM and Beirut office. Duties Responsible of the recruitment of National staff, in coordination with other departments and HR Beirut: advertisement of positions, reference Checks, sends offers, etc. Ensuring that Data Entry of newly recruited Staff is properly recorded on both Staff Lists and HR Software; Ensure that all Personnel files are complete, correct and have the relevant documents; Responsible for entry and exit procedures for all staff in coordination with Logistics Department and Safety Department Responsible for drafting and maintaining all admin and office contracts About you To be successful in this role you must have A degree in Administration, HR or relevant field of study, or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative or operational support functions with an international organization in Lebanon or with the private sector; Ideally you will also have A Master degree in Administration, HR or relevant field of study, or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience in a similar role; We offer An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract until end of June 2014, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from May 15th 2014 and be willing and able to work in Akkar area. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. Basic salary: USD 1,505 per month (basic).
