Enumerator For The Vulnerability Assessment Of Syrian Refugees

General objective   The main objective of the 2014 VaSyR is to provide a multi-sectorial overview of the vulnerability situation of Syrian refugees in Lebanon one year after the original 2013 VASyR. Under the supervision of the VaSyR Team Leader, the VaSyR Enumerators will implement activities on the field. The VaSyR Enumerators spends most of his/her time in the field and is in regular and direct contact with beneficiaries. The Enumerators will be paired up in teams of 2 people each which are expected to carry out an average of 5 interviews per day. Enumerators are responsible to schedule their visits with the selected families prior to their visit. The visit will be guided by a questionnaire which needs to be completed by the assessor, by filling out the questions section of the questionnaire based on the answers given by the beneficiaries. The questionnaire will be made available in electronic format and tablets will be provided to this effect. Training will take place between on the third week of May in Beirut (exact date to be confirmed) to train enumerators on how to fill out the questionnaire. Assessor teams will be supported by VaSyR Team Leaders who will plan daily movements, provide assistance as needed and monitor daily activities. Responsibilities and tasks  - Assessment: He/She will implement VaSyR field-related activities. - Safety and Security: He/She will follow safety and security rules on-base and will transmit all safety and security information to the VaSyR Team Leader.  Specific objectives and linked activities - Conducting interviews Under the guidance of the VaSyR Team Leader, ensuring quality and accuracy of data collected on the field and the serious follow up of available guidelines. - Communication & Follow up To participate in the field work and respond to beneficiaries’ queries with good knowledge of relevant information. To report on its daily activities to the VaSyR team Leader.
