Driver - Tripoli

Within delegated authority, the Driver will be responsible for the following duties:   Drives staff members safely to various destinations in the country as required. Responsible for all vehicle loads. Assists in collecting and delivering documentation to and from IMC Offices, local authorities, NGOs and other relevant offices. Responsible for their distribution to respective IMC offices i.e. Tyre & Beirut offices. Liaises with Office Manager on issues relating to the maintenance of operation of vehicles including daily entries in vehicle log books and ensures that vehicles are cleaned and fuelled. Ensure log books are signed by relevant passenger. Assists with messenger duties that may be requested by the Office Manager or relevant staff member. Performs minor mechanical repairs on vehicles as required. Reports any vehicle damage to the Office Manager immediately. Reports any issues relating to the security of IMC staff or vehicles immediately. Completes Vehicle Accident Reports (VARs) immediately following any accident. Carries out any other duties assigned by the Office Manager. During trips, the chief of the travel is his supervisor, and he has the authority to instruct the driver in safety driving and safety loading. When vehicles and the drivers have been allocated to a Department, he acts as a staff member of that Department and the Head of Department is his direct supervisor unless authorized delegation. When the driver is not on a driving duty and not working on other assigned duties by the Department Supervisor, he reports to the Office Manager and stays in the Beirut Receptionist area for possible other duties assigned by the Office Manager. Undertakes training activities as instructed by the CD.
