Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.
Today, PU-AMI is intervening in 21 countries in Africa, the Near East, Caucasus, Asia and the Caribbean to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises.
PU-AMI in Lebanon has been implementing emergency and recovery projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, in Shelter Rehabilitation, Health and in Livelihood Recovery sectors.

General objective
The Web Developer will undertake the task of coding and designing the planned IM system for PU-AMI Lebanon mission under the technical guidance of PU-AMI IM Coordinator.
Responsabilities and tasks
Database design and creation
- To participate in the design of needed databases in the IM systen development;
- To generate the needed Tables, Views, Stored procedures, etc…;
- To link the database effectively to the developing and end user interface.
Web Coding and Developement
- To code the parts assigned to him, and generate the front and back end of the forms;
- To test the codes before delivery;
- To backup his code regularely and push it to the IM Coordinator;
- To ensure a high quality coding ;
- To ensure the use of certified third party component with no copyright infriging;
Web layout design
- Implement or generate the web interface template across the project.
Planning & Reporting
- To attend the development coordination meeting on a weekly basis, or when needed;
- To send a weekly workplan and progress to the IM Coordinator;
- To communicate with the IM Coordinator in case of any doubts or challenges.
The tasks and responsabilities mentionned above are not thorough and may be subject to evolve depending on the PU-AMI needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory requierements
Language Skills :
Fluent in English and Arabic, (speaking/reading/writing).
Education Degree :
University degree or Technical diploma in Computer Science or relevent.
Work experience :
3 years Experience in NGOs/private companies in IT.
Management Skills :
Managerial skills
Accountability and timely delivery
Ability to motivate and develop his team skills
Computer Skills:
Proven Experience with ASP.Net environemet
Proven Experience in MS-SQL server database development
Experience in Vb.net or C# languages is required
Java, Jquery, MVC are an asset
Excellent knoledge of Excel and Access
Data Manipulation and Report generation
Familiar with with windows systems and applications
Assets
Other knowledge : Acquaintance with INGO' rules, procedures and regulations
Interest : Work in relief, interest for refugees issues
