Analyse available data on children enrolment and attendance in schools and non-formal education programmes run by UNHCR partners, and identify trends, scope of drop-out, attendance by age.- Map existing enrolment capacities of schools in first and second shift in given areas, collate information on children who could not be accommodated in schools.- Correlate data on enrolment with registration data desegregated by age to identify out-of-school children and their location.- Analyse information reported in Participatory Assessments and identify, qualify and scope protection risks faced by children in and out-of-school in specific locations, with relevant child protection actors.- Organize Focus Group Discussion with parents, children and youth in selected locations to analyse reasons for non-enrolment. Prioritize reasons by area and measures that would be critical for enrolment.
- Design strategies for outreach, in line with UNHCR existing mass information and IM tools, and propose targeted interventions in surveyed areas.- Keep track of the methodology used and design templates for qualitative and quantitative information to replicate the exercise.- It is possible to mobilize a team of two persons based on expertise and complementary of approaches.
