Do you have a professional diploma or university degree and would you ideally have had an working experience with a humanitarian organisation; it could be a real asset if you had working experience with ICRC, the Federation or a National Red Cross or Red Crescent Society - then this job might be the job for you;
to assist the ICRC in Lebanon to contribute and promote finance development with its operational partners in line with its institutional framework. To take responsibility for the daily and quarterly processing of financial expenditure reports on ICRC supported programs with The Lebanese Red Cross and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (Lebanon). Contribute to the analysis, planning, implementation, reporting and monitoring of the finance support provided according to annual objectives established.
The position is an integral part of the Cooperation Department in the ICRC Lebanon Delegation and requires the following:
Minimum required knowledge and experience :
· Professional accounting diploma or university degree
· 4 - 5 years work experience in a similar field
· Experience in Finance Development
· Good knowledge of written and spoken English
· Good computer skills
· Rigorous and trustful person
· Good analytical skills
Standard function description:
· Handles book keeping of medium/large delegation
· Processes financial data on computer and provides end of month closing and reports independently.
· Responsible for cash flow management under supervision.
· Technical support for budget elaboration and monitoring
· Ensures respect of financial procedures and guidelines
