Outreach Volunteer Coordinator – National Position

INTERSOS is an independent humanitarian aid organization committed to helping and supporting endangered populations, victims of wars and natural disasters. Specific tasks: -       Conduct the identification and selection of outreach volunteers; -       Organize and coordinate the outreach volunteer teams; -       Monitor the volunteers outreach activities in the field; -       Collect and report all the information gathered by the outreach volunteers.  Overall duties: -       Works directly with outreach volunteers, local communities, refugees and INTERSOS staff  involved in the implementation of "WASH" and "COMMUNITY SERVICES" activities in Bekaa, coordinating with all of them and carrying out skills training courses, awareness sessions, protection risks and concern identification and referral to specialized agencies and services providerand specific activities for the volunteers. -       First point of contact for the volunteers, keeping them motivated, ensure team spirit and ensure good planning and coordination of the volunteers their work. -       Provide outreachvolunteers with supervision and guidance during fieldvisits and be available at all times. -       Monitor daily and weekly visit plan, evaluate performance of the volunteer in relation to agreed targets and ensure the monitoring, use and identification of referral pathways. -       Liaise between INTERSOS field teams, outreach volunteers and UNHCR community services staff. -       Ensure data collection, reporting and analysis on daily basis. -       Provide support and supervision and leadership, including regular meetings with the volunteers of the different teams, making sure that team and individual roles and objectives are fulfilled. -       Acts in the interest of refugees and local communities. -       Any other tasks requested/required in order to support the team and supervisor. Requested previous experience in working with refugees, reporting, monitoring and training.
