Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide psychotherapy to displaced Syrians, other refugees when needed and members of the host community in the different locations/clinics were IMC is intervening
Provide psychosocial support – groups and individuals – to trauma survivors and conflict affected persons.
Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level.
Provide regular feedback to the Case Management (CM) team especially the social worker regarding the follow up of the cases and progress of therapy.
Provide direct support and guidance to the social worker on common cases.
Complete intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary.
Keep track of patient numbers/cases through IMC outpatient records, to be submitted at the end of every month.
Make necessary and timely referrals when necessary.
Attend weekly or biweekly meetings including the technical meeting with the rest of the CM team in the south.
Attend the supervision meeting that is conducted once a month.
Report directly to IMC psychosocial officer.
Deliverables:
Submit outpatient records at the end of each month.
Submit timesheets of executed works that include number of sessions, beneficiaries/patients. This timesheet has to be signed and approved by the Psychotherapist and an IMC person (center manager, social worker….).
