Collective Center and Camp Management Program manager
We are looking for a highly qualified Candidate that can be responsible for the implementation, technical and financial monitoring and reporting of all DRC's operations in collective settlements.
Who are we? DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.
Duties• Supervise, monitor and support the CCCM Project Officers, Field Assistants and volunteers teams carrying out CCCM activities (Community mobilization, service provision monitoring, data collection, coordination with relevant stakeholders);• Ensure coherence of approach, information sharing, good and effective coordination of CCCM activities with other DRC units engaged in collective settlements activities such as Shelter, protection, community development, NFI, the data management and reporting teams as well as external stakeholders and humanitarian partners, local authorities and donors;• Review and adjust proposals to ensure consistency with relevant priorities and the approved program, taking into consideration available resources. Formulate and present such proposals through the use of technical and substantive input and in accordance with the required format for final review and approval; • Prepare or ensure timely preparation and submission of all internal and program reports according to DRC and donor formats as required. Prepare regular updates, program summaries, press releases and other relevant materials;• Manage financial, administrative and logistical aspects of the program and identify, train and supervise staff in accordance with DRC’s internal procedures and regulations
About you To be successful in this role you must have completed first's degree from an accredited academic institution, Three years of experience (or five years of experience for candidates holding a first level university degree) in the field of humanitarian program development and management including operational and field experience as well as substantial work experience in conflict and post-conflict zones and CCCM response. Ideally you will also have completed a Master's degree and have substantial experience as camp or collective center manager. Previous experience working in Lebanon an advantage.
We offer An interesting job in one of the best NGO’s in the world. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from March and be willing and able to work in Tyre. As for National staff, salary and conditions will be in accordance with DRC Lebanon salary scale.
