Procurement Administrator

ROLE DIMENSION / DESCRIPTION Procurement Management Review periodically the procurement policies and ensure its compliance with World Vision International policies and governmental regulations. Inform team about new procurement processes and ensure that existing policies, procedures and practices are in full compliance with the WVL’s Purchasing Policy.   Update regularly the Procurement database in terms of Suppliers and form used in the procurement.   Fill the Procurement requested form as per World vision and donors Policies and procedure.   Implement the national office procurement processes by: selecting goods/services as per the Purchase Requisition Forms, when bidding is required obtain quotations/pro-forma invoices and ensure that proper documentation are present and a bids committee is facilitated/comparative bids analysis developed., local purchase orders issued, etc…   Conduct monitoring visits and report findings and recommendations to management.   Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors of commodities, equipment and supplies. Pay regular visits to suppliers and inform them about our achievements and future objectives when needed.   Conduct forensic visit to suppliers to ensure risks are kept to minimum.   Knowledge & Skills Excellent written English, with good command with spoken Arabic and English Strong administrative skills including attention to details Excellent organizational and time management skills. MS Office ( Word, Excel, Power Point ) Essential   Knowledge about Legal Issues: Contract Writing Lotus Notes Desirable   Basic Accounting knowledge Basic IT Knowledge Lebanese Driving license Preferred
