General Functions:
Under the direct supervision of the Livelihoods and NFI Officer and the over-all guidance of the Chief of Mission and the Emergency Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for the timely delivery of emergency related items, supplies, materials and equipment necessary for the on-going emergency response activities of the Mission. In particular, s/he will:
Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics Unit to ensure timely procurement and delivery of core relief, shelters, livelihoods and other items
Provide in support in procurement activities as may be requested by the Procurement and Logistics Unit
Follow-up deliveries of NFIs and shelter kits and liaise with field teams on warehousing and distribution requirements
Support the field teams on stock management, inventory and regular updating of warehouse stock balance and requirements
Develop and maintain, in coordination with Procurement and field teams, stock distribution and tracking tool(s)
Travel to field locations when required
Perform all other functions that may be assigned

University degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, Social Sciences/Community Development or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience and Skills: Experience in procurement and logistics or supply chain management with a particular focus on post-emergency livelihood assistance is distinct advantage.
Experience in working with local or national government agencies and non-government organizations and private sector groups is also desirable.
Good oral and written communication and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and organizations skills. Flexible and open working style. Ability to effectively and harmoniously work in a multi-sector/stakeholder environment and effectively handle multiple tasks under time constraints.
