Medical Laboratory Consultant

CONSULTANCY OBJECTIVES   RMF is looking for a medical laboratory consultant to carry out design and implementation of Deir Amar medical laboratory the consultant shall conduct site visit and find out other necessary details and specification to specify the equipment necessary for the village and project. The consultant will take part of the bidding process to procure equipment and will follow up the operation of the laboratory in a good manner.   RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONSULTANT   The consultant shall perform the following tasks: 1-Site visit: To determine the design and space needed for the laboratory, and specify the necessary equipment to establish the Laboratory in Deir Amar.   2- Detailed Design of the project The Consultant shall prepare: the following documents: - Detailed list of the needed equipment taking into consideration the equipment suggested by the municipality. - The technical specifications.   3-Tendering and Award of Contract -The consultant will advise RMF with a list of competitive bidders. -The Consultant will guide the evaluation committee during evaluation of the tender's in accordance with the rules for procurement -The consultant will prepare tender analysis report to RMF with recommendation for the eligible Contractor(s) from the technical and financial point of view.   4- Project Supervision The Consultant will supervise and follow up on the implementation and operation of the Laboratory to ensure that the disposition and equipment are in accordance with the contract.   WORK EXPERIENCE   The expert should be familiar with laboratory and blood testing equipment The expert should have experience in the establishment and operation of laboratories.
