Wash Monitoring And Evaluation Officer

Under The supervision of the WASH Head of Project and with the support of the Municipalities focal point and the Head of Project, The Field officer  is responsible to manage the day to day of the activities and the relationships with the beneficiaries. Specific Duties and Responsibilities : The Wash Monitoring and Evaluation officer will be responsible for : Objective 1:  Collection of information and documentation Provide information on available services at both Household and settlement /collective shelter levels Regular liaison and communication with beneficiaries, service providers and ACF Objective 2: Create and implement monitoring & Evaluation tools and methodologies for ACF Wash activities. Create tools and methodologies to monitor and evaluate ACF Wash activities (distributions, construction and rehabilitation, hygiene promotion, solid waste management, surveys, etc. …). Organize the implementation of these tools and methodologies (field surveys, management of databases, writing reports, etc.) in collaboration with the rest of the A, M & E team and the Hygiene Promotion and Technical teams. Objective 3: Manage the Beneficiaries Database. Organize the Data Collection for the beneficiaries’ assessments and for the Wash items distributed in coordination with the Focal Points (Hygiene promotion team) and the Technical team. Update and Exploit the beneficiaries’ database (update new assessments and distributions, analyse and extract data according to Wash HoP needs) in collaboration with the rest of the , M & E team. Objective 4: Reporting. Report the progress of the activities to his/her line manager. Regular oral reporting to the Wash supervisor and Head of Project.   Knowledge and Skills required: Bachelor of art in public health, social sciences or related fields.  Two  to three years of experience in a same field; Strong communication skills, used to speak in public and work with people from different backgrounds. Experience in solid waste management, work with local communities, children and vulnerable people,  Experience in community mobilization and participation, Previous experience in managing data collected through Android device Computer skills (Microsoft Office), Fluent Arabic, Very good English level (written, reading and writing).
