Programme Coordinator

Programme Officer will be responsible for Disaster Risk Reduction projects/programmes and field implementation of grants. Responsible for structural intervention of that project as per the developed project proposal and as per approved design. Ensure transparent coordination mechanisms and regular information-sharing between IR Staffs. Budget Controlling, Budgeting, checking & reviewing of bills & settling with financial expenditure. Support the field/partner teams on site by regularly visiting intervention sites and discussion with team based on the findings. Promotes the project and identifies potential recipients in line with the Need Assessment. Communicate eligibility criteria and the application process to the community. Monitors grant implementation and ensures adherence to work plans, budgets, projected outputs, etc. Load and update the Projects’ data including profiles, monthly reports, procurement plans, etc. Provide hands-on technical assistance to grant recipients. Leads the accompaniment teams for the grant recipients, liaises between these teams, and organizes workshops, meetings and forums for exchange of experience and expertise. Reviews and approves grant recipient reports, and prepares periodic status reports of sub-grants or projects. Provides timely and appropriate feedback to IRL on procurement related issues after consultation with the IRL’ Procurement Specialist to ensure their accountability and compliance with the agreed upon procurement procedures. Develops detailed periodic activity plans as required. Build relationships with NGOs in consultation and coordination with the HOM.
