Outreach And In Clinic Social Worker - Tripoli

Provide social support to displaced Syrians and their families at the primary health      clinics and shelters level Work directly with the psychologist to develop intervention plans and follow up at the      home/ shelter level. Complete intake assessments, evaluations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary. The case manager will be an essential source of providing accurate referrals when need be; i.e., the case manager will refer patient to hospitals and centers; in addition to other local NGOs and INGOs.  Liaising with, and making referrals of specific cases Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports Attend weekly or biweekly meetings with North based Area Manager. Report directly to IMC Area Manager. Identify families or individuals in need of psychosocial support or counseling through home/shelter visits. Collect information about visited vulnerable families through interviews, observation, and tests carried out via      outreach home visits. Encourage families to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives, and help them to develop insight      into themselves and their relationships.   Reporting: Submitting   the following reports to the IMC Area Manager at the end of each week: The Case Manager Report The  Narrative Report [includes number of beneficiaries and house-visits conducted] Other reports requested by the IMC Area Manager Qualifications: Social Work background Minimum 2 – 3 years in the field of social work Previous NGO experience is a plus Fluent in Arabic – English is a plus
