Counselor

Karyet Maryam is a new women rehabilitation center that was launched a year ago in order to provide recovering drug addicts with a holistic program aiming at improving their well being and building a drug free life. The team works closely with the beneficiaries helping them to overcome unsolved issues and to build a positive attitude towards the future. Job Description of the Counselor: -      Responsible of one of the five phases of rehabilitation.  -       Responsible of one of the groups’ therapy -       Oversees the work and organization in one working unit and train residents on the work in question -       Covers one or two night shifts per week -       Facilitates the groups’ dynamics   -       Share with the residents the daily activities and act as a role model -       Follow up on the development of the residents she is in charge of, through the development plans, family visits, individual   meetings etc … -       Specific shores that are phase related will be defined for every educator -       CAN be in charge of one artistic activity if possible   The educator should have the following criteria: -Non-Judgmental - Very Good Communication skills - Leadership skills - Ability to reflect on one's behavior and learn from mistakes - Patience, commitment - Ability to coordinate and work within a team - Multitasking   Shift Schedule: five days a week from 9 to 5  (of which week ends sometimes) + one night shift
