Oti Lebanon Security Coordinator

The OTI Lebanon project/Lebanon Civic Support Initiative (LCSI) is funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID)/Office of Transition Initiative (OTI), through a contract with Chemonics International.  The project grants to a variety of institutions, including international and Lebanese NGOs, community based organizations, governmental entities, or informal groups, to implement project activities. Chemonics seeks a local Lebanese security coordinator for OTI Lebanon/Lebanon Civic Support Initiative (LCSI). The security coordinator will provide security guidance to approximately 20 field staff, including security assessments, emergency plans, and journey management, as well as information security, networking, and training. This coordinator will also be tasked with ad hoc project and security assignments as needed. This position is anticipated to last roughly one year and is based in Beirut, with additional travel throughout Lebanon required.   Qualifications:  3-5 years of security experience required Experience with USAID or NGO security preferred   Superior networking and communication skills required Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity required English and Arabic fluency required
