Legal Advisor

This experienced individual will be placed on retainer to advise the MEHE on the legal frameworks for certificates of completion and other legal subjects.   Key deliverables: Legal advice to be provided to the DG of Education on a wide range of areas related to delivering education in emergencies, national and regional capacity building, working with refugee communities. Prepare laws, decree texts to be submitted to the relevant departments in the ministry or competent authorities Requirements of the successful candidate: Legal degree and the professional requirements to practice law in Lebanon; In-depth technical knowledge of Lebanese legal system in addition to legal frameworks that protect refugees and in particular children; Excellent communication and presentation skills; Flexible problem-solving approach to working in national crises;
