Hr Assistant

To assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources (HR) functions of the NRC Lebanon, and to take care of the daily HR practicalities of the Beirut office. Key Responsibilities Update NRC Lebanon staff List to HQ Keep contact list for NRC national and International staff updated at all times To prepare and file all documents necessary for the administrative management of the national staff (leave days, sick leaves, overtimes etc). Receive and follow up monthly lists from field offices. To calculate all allowances and additional payments on individual level for personnel, submit to Admin-HR Coordinator before the 20th of each month (DSA/overnight) Make sure the personnel files contain all documents necessaries according to NRC regulations and archive them properly Keep the staff detailed database updated at all times, synchronize with personnel files Closely work with Admin-HR Coordinator on insurance issues for the staff (Fidelity Focal point) Order, follow up and update NRC Lebanon ID cards list Check lists for National and International staff Prepare HR related documents and letters , liaise with Logistics Coordinator on asset transfers and email requests Assist staff in roll-out and clarifying on HR policies, processes, procedures and standard NRC practices Support in the implementation of staff induction, training and development programmes Provide administrative support for staff welfare programs/activities Fulfill any other related tasks that may be assigned by the FAM or the Country Director. Qualifications and Competences Academic and Professional Qualifications Ordinary National Bachelor in Relevant Field. HR diploma/Certification is a plus Relevant Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and team working skills Good cultural awareness and sensitivity Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential Very Good English Language level (Business English is a plus) Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector is a plus A strong administrative service orientation Good  individual counseling, conflict resolution and problem solving skills Good computer application skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database and network communications.
