Specialized Nurse -Chronic Disease

-Scope of responsibility: Ensure the organisation of the nursing activity in the theater to allow that the surgical activities are running well. -Function responsibilities include: Hygiene standards, Lack of autonomy compensation, Treatment and care, Patient surveillance Patient therapeutic education (PTE), Participation to the project monitoring (MSF is an association) Function responsibilities Patient Care: Know, apply and make sure universal hygiene standards and security rules are respected inside the theatre (routing of patients, routing of linen). Ensure asepsis rules during all nursing cares procedure inside the theatre.. Ensure reception and installation of the patient in the theatre room. Ensure the preparation of the theatre room for a specific operation (materiel, table etc). Assist the surgeon as a runner or scrub nurse if needed Ensure quality of the sterilization process Management: Manage daily  and motivate a team of nurse-helpers and cleaners. Coordinate with the other staff working in the theatre ( Anaesthetist, surgeon)to set up priorities for the intervention.  Supervise the quality of care. (General organisation, development and follow up of technical procedure, Respect of confidentiality)  Ensure staff training (formal and informal), under the supervision of the hierarchical referent. Manage efficiently the pharmacy and medical equipment of the theatre: drugs orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions, inventories, follow-up of expired drugs and their destruction. Ensure staff security ( Immunisation, access to PEP Monitoring, Analysis and Report Participate in the development of the plan of action Participate actively in the monitoring and the reporting of medical activities (correctly fill in patient files, forms, statistics, reports) and propose analyse of these statistics. Ensure a relevant transfer of information to the next duty team. Report immediately to the technical referent any problem arising in the service, especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment or medicines.  -Required qualification: Ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural people, Open-minded, Good communication skills, ability to listen
