General objective
Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Field Officer is responsible for the qualitative, quantitative and timely implementation of activities but especially the objectives linked to program. He/she directly implement the software activities or with the help of beneficiaries, daily workers or volunteers.
Responsibilities
Regular follow up and monitoring of the Syrian Refugees Emergency Project.
Ensure periodic monitoring takes place.
Responsible for the achievement of the objectives of the project proposal
Ensure, promote and facilitate the coordination all program activities in the field and the availability of supplies in response to Syrian refuges
Ensure that all measures have been taken and rules followed to ensure security on-site;
Represents the organization in a professional and respectful manner to all community members.
Program regular visits to the activities to assess partner performance and to ensure the quality of the project supporting in the process of monitoring and evaluation
Work closely and effectively with the RI Team members.
Liaise and coordinate with the government/ UN agencies and National-International NGO and attend regular UN coordination meeting
Coordinate trainings, workshops
Liaise with professional counterparts of (inter)national authorities and organizations;
Timely identify, inform and discuss any issues with his/her supervisor
Collects and records data in an accurate fashion and provides comprehensive data reports.
Any other tasks deemed appropriate by the Program Manager/ Head Of office
Give an expertise and contribute to the improvement of activities through critics, analysis and suggestions
Coordinate the logistics and administration of the project.
Reporting
Report to the Program Manager.
·Collect any relevant information from the communities and partners
Collect and monitor the results of the program activities.
Prepare and write monthly reports as RI template, and submit to the supervisor on the date identified.
Required Qualifications
This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.
Bachelor Degree in psychosocial support programming or any other related field, Masters Degree is a plus
A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in operations position preferably with Local or International NGOs.
Ability to adapt and be capable to deal with difficult security conditions
Knowledge in planning, monitoring and evaluation including developing tools and supporting local partners
At least one year of experience working in relief programming in the region
Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
Good command of Excel and Microsoft Word preferred.
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic & English is a must
Desire to learn, willingness to ask questions, cultural sensitivity, and flexibility are desired characteristics.
Driving license required.
National staff are required for this position
Conditions
Full time job of 40 hours per week, distributed in five days according the needs of the program.
Competitive remuneration.
