Field Officer

ACF  is Partner with WFP in providing services for a Food Voucher assistance Project for the Syrian refuges displaced in South Lebanon (areas Tyre, Nabatieh, Marjaayoun, Bint Jbeil and chebaa). The Field Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring  Food voucher Project activities and follow them up with the partners and beneficiaries. The FO is in charge of building the capacity of the  FO team and ACF internal and external representation and coordination. Specific Duties and Responsabilites :     The FO will be responsible for : Organizing the distribution of vouchers: receiving the vouchers, organizing the vouchers, preparing lists, identifying distribution centre, informing beneficiaries. Distributing the vouchers during distribution days; Represent and explain the project and its objectives correctly to beneficiaries Conduct Focus Croup discussions with beneficiaries’ during the distribution to confirm that the information and the papers of refuges are correct; Follow up on complaints; Conduct shop assessments; Perform field monitoring visits to shops in order to monitor the shops performance, prices, use of vouchers, availability of good qualities and standards; Collecting the vouchers from the shops; Data entry of vouchers (vouchers data-base); Monitoring the activities of the project; Maintain constant contacts with beneficiaries (receive their requests, provide available information, etc.); Perform all other necessary actions for the functioning and success of the project in order to deliver assistance to the designated beneficiaries; Regular reporting to Project Manager. Knowledge and Skills required:   BA in social sciences, psychosocial or other disciplines related to the profile. Minimum  two to three  years of experience  in a  related fieldwork Experience with participatory fieldwork, methodologies, monitoring and reporting Very good Communication Skills Very good interpersonal skills Initiative, availability and learning skills Ability to work under pressure , independently and with limited supervision Very good computer skills ( word, Excel) Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is a must.
