Psychosocial Animator

In the frame of the activities of the project “Multi-Sector Assistance to Populations Affected by the Syrian Crisis in Neighbouring Countries (Lebanon component) under the overall supervision of the Head of the IOM Mission in Lebanon, the supervision of the Psychosocial Program Manager, and the direct supervision of the psychosocial program coordinator, the incumbent will:   In particular, he/she will: a)      Conduct psychosocial animation sessions to the affected Syrian displaced population  b)      Identify cases that require intervention on the psychological level and refer them to the team’s psychologist. c)      Coordinate with the team members as to integrating referred cases within the psychosocial animation groups. d)     Provide psychosocial first aid to the affected population in case of sudden/on-going emergency e)      Report on the sessions conducted f)       Map existing needs g)      Organize support groups and forums for the Syrian displaced population h)      any other duty as may be assigned
