Health Field Officer- Community Work

General objective   In collaboration with the health team, is responsible for providing quality information and health education in order to ensure access to health care by Syrian refugees with respect of PU-AMI overall principles.   Responsibilities and tasks   Provide quality information and health education to Syrian refugees -            Participate in the identification of potential project beneficiaries in the targeted areas -            Participate in health-related assessments of the beneficiaries’ needs -            Conduct surveys using specific formats -            In collaboration with the Health supervisor, Project Manager and Medical coordinator, participate in the creation and dissemination of IEC (Information, Education, Communication) materials -            Ensure the dissemination of the information on the referral system to the Syrian refugees -            Participate in the organization of health awareness activities in the health facilities and communities -            Ensure the provision of health education to Syrian refugees on the topics related to hygiene, maternal and child health, nutrition and other topics according to their needs -            Ensure field level monitoring of the health education related activities -            Be in regular and direct contact with beneficiaries, collect complaints and suggestions -            Report any difficulty or issue to the Health Supervisor -            Respect the confidentiality of the beneficiaries -            Contribute to work related reports -            Participate in the implementation of the project impact survey -            Accomplish any other tasks assigned by the Health Supervisor
