Social Field Officer (2 Vacancies)

The Social Field Officer is expected to represent Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Lebanon in a responsible manner and to always act in accordance with the NRC Code of Conduct.   JOB PURPOSE   The SFO links the beneficiaries with the project staff and other stakeholders through meetings, home visits and activities.   MANAGEMENT The SFO manages the Social Field Assistants (SFA)   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES               Management of the Social activities   To manage the daily activities of SFA To assist the SFA to resolve particular difficult issues on the field To organize and coordinate the signing of the beneficiary contracts, with SFAs (including leading, training and organizing the SFAs). To assist the SFAs in receiving, processing and settling complaints and grievances during the construction period, To summarize the reports from the SFAs and report to the PC. To arrange assessments and conduct data analysis on results To contribute to the creation of project tools The SFO shall assist in encouraging both the project staff and beneficiaries to work towards the common goals and objectives of the activities.                 Meetings and representation activities   To conduct focus group discussions with beneficiaries To assist the PC on the organization and the facilitation of meetings with beneficiaries and authorities   Coordination and support activities   To link the SFA and the TFA through discussion with the PC To assist with any other task requested by the PC.   To provide the PC and FM with regular reports.
