Production Training Specialist

BACKGROUND The Lebanon Industry Value Chain Development (LIVCD) is a five year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented under the leadership of Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI).  LIVCD Project aims to increase the competitiveness of selected value chains, expand the number of Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises that can compete in selected markets, improve linkages between those firms and other actors throughout the value chain, increase the gross value of products and services in local and export markets, and expand exports. Development Alternatives Inc. is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Production Training Specialist on the USAID LIVCD Project for a period of 4.5 years. OBJECTIVES The Production Training Specialist will lead design, planning, and management of LIVCD production training activities, including demonstration plots, farmer field day programs, and other activities to improve production techniques. He/She will oversee capacity building for value chain coordinators in improved production practices for relevant LIVCD value chains.
