Driver

The Driver will maintain all project vehicles and drive project staff to and from meetings, appointments, field offices, site visits, and all other project-related travel, as well as run errands as required by the project. SPECIFIC TASKS Drive assigned project vehicles as directed, including scheduled fields trips, project related trips throughout the country, airport pick-up and drop off, and other locations. Ensure efficient vehicle maintenance including regular tune-ups, cleaning, and fueling. Check assigned vehicle on a weekly basis to ensure that it is operational and safe to drive, including oil, radiator, fan belt, brake fluids, wipers, tires, lights, and signals. Initiate and supervise routine periodic maintenance or repairs of assigned project vehicles, including oil and filter changes, tune-ups, and professional cleaning by high-pressure hose based on the manufacturer’s instructions on optimum maintenance requirements. Fulfill reporting requirements and maintain an accurate daily vehicle log, and records on vehicle condition. Maintaining accurate records and paperwork on all vehicle-related purchases and maintenance. Ensure passenger safety by obeying traffic laws, driving carefully, and ensuring each person in the vehicle wears a seatbelt. Ensure compliance with all DAI and local driving laws and regulations.
